Beeline Community Transport is a local charity that has a core of fabulous volunteer drivers, who use their own cars to take people from all over North Warwickshire to medical appointments. However we are also victims of our own success, we have encouraged doctor’s surgeries, clinics and hospitals to give out our details and phone numbers as well as numerous posters placed around and about. Our passenger numbers have increased, which is fantastic, but we are now struggling for drivers to cover the ever increasing number of journeys as public transport is getting less and less frequent. If you think you could help and think that you would like to become a beeline driver, please call in to see us. We are based at The Partnership Centre, Coleshill Road, Atherstone CV9 1BN or give us a call on 01827 717074 and we will be happy to give you any information you require. We would be particularly love to obtain drivers from Grendon, Polesworth, Baddesley, Atherstone, Mancetter and Dordon as we are really short in these areas. We would also love drivers from any are in North Warwickshire that can help us to keep this very valuable service alive. If you are someone who needs help in getting to medical appointments, please feel free to call us too
We Are 30 Years Old On November 21st 2014 Beeline held an open day to celebrate 30 years of providing a much needed service. The Mayor of North Warwickshire Ray Sweet praised our volunteer drivers and amused everybody with his memories of Atherstone 30 years ago. He cut the cake and drew the raffle, assisted by our Chair Hayden Phillips.
